I keep buying vast quantities of Indian packet food, eating a few then stuffing the rest in the freezer. It occurred to me today that I should make an effort to eat some of these thing. I also wanted a gammon steak.
The gammon steak was unachievable. I substituted that for a thick slice of ham griddled to perfection. With the ham I had some roti paratha and mini vegetarian samosas.
I did go to a little effort in making roti canai curry sauce for dipping. It is a recipe I made exactly right the first time and have been fucking up ever since. Tonight - too much chilli. I am getting closer though.
